Send questions, bug reports, and feedback about App Trust Preview. Include your macOS version, app version, and a short description of what you expected to see.

The App Trust Preview Mac app sends no network requests of its own and does not launch, upload, or modify inspected apps. Please do not attach app bundles to support requests unless you intentionally want to share that file.

Helpful details to include

  • Your macOS version.
  • The App Trust Preview version (shown in App Trust Preview ▸ About).
  • Whether you opened the report from the main app, dropped a .app, used Quick Look in Finder, or used the file picker.
  • The verdict shown at the top of the report: Strong safety signals, A few things to know, Some signals are weaker than usual, or Not enough information.
  • The bundle identifier of the inspected app (the small text under the app name — there is a copy button next to it).
  • Whether the optional helper is installed, and whether Full Disk Access was granted, if the question involves notarization or saved privacy decisions.
  • Any export format involved, such as JSON or plain text.
